Join us on Sólheimajökull glacier in South Iceland, which is full of contrasts and fascinating features. On this 2,5 h adventure we will explore the areas which have been affected by a subglacial volcano Katla and hike up towards the centre of the glacier from where we have breathtaking views over the glacier lagoon filled with icebergs. Along the way we can admire crevasses and cylindrical, vertical shafts called moulins. If you are lucky or brave enough- your guide might even let you peek into some of these bottomless features. Depending on the season we might have a chance to discover some icy tunnels or even walk inside some of the bright blue crevasses.
